health through Postpartum Support International. Shanely specializes in working with
postpartum mood disorders, postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD, infertility, pregnancy loss,
people trying to conceive, and termination for medical reasons.

Shanely is eclectic in her therapeutic relationship, making sure to always meet the client where
they are at. In working with couples, Shanely utilizes Gottman informed techniques where she
emphasizes conflict resolution skills, connection tools, as well as solution oriented approaches.

Shanely’s goal in supporting couples is making both partners feel heard and validated while

Wallace Ludel is a Licensed Master of Social Work whose primary interests include grief and bereavement, explorations and constructions of identity, personal narratives, spiritual well being, anxiety, interpersonal and family dynamics, and other aspects of self-exploration. 

Wallace uses a strengths-based approach and believes that the therapeutic relationship is one built on curiosity and open-mindedness, and that facilitating this environment is key to the clinician’s role. Prior to coming to Taproot, Wallace worked at the Center for Prolonged Grief, conducting training, research, and psychoeducation on grief and grief counseling. Prior to becoming a therapist, Fiona worked in the entertainment industry for just under a decade as a head of production, which shaped her understanding of high-stress, high-performance workplace dynamics, team building psychology, burnout, perfectionism, and the struggle of balancing career with life. Fiona is committed to helping clients find fulfillment and reach their potential by helping identify patterns that are keeping them stuck while building self-compassion. 


Additionally, she has completed level one of the Gottman Method and provides couples therapy to those of all ages who wish to hone communication skills, work on attachment styles, build security, and enhance or maintain their connection. As a therapist with lived experience of neurodivergence, Lexi is passionate about providing therapy that is responsive and flexible to neurodiversity. His strengths allowed him to make a difference in the lives of youths, young adults and their parents. Don specializes in parent coaching, and working with adolescents. He is a substance use coach for adolescents and young adults. Don also specializes in supporting clients during transitional times in their lives: college graduates transitioning from classroom to work life, veterans from military to civilian life, and career workers to retired life. Don served in the US Army Vietnam. His life and  graduate school experiences , Manhattan School of Music and Fordham University, prepared him to be a strong advocate for multicultural education. Don is well versed in racial issues and is open to cultivating meaningful productive conversations around this topic.

Remy is our therapy dog-in-training. Still just a puppy, Remy is a French Bulldog learning how to provide emotional support. Remy is not in the office every day, but does make visits to support his training.
