Erin Iwanusa, LCSW, CDWF, PMH-C
Founder Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator Certified Perinatal Mental Health clinician (She/ Her/ Hers) Erin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, grief and loss, fertility, and pregnancy loss. Erin specializes in working with clients from adolescence to adulthood. She is a certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, focusing on self-compassion, shame resilience, and vulnerability. Erin is also a Gottman trained therapist providing couples' therapy. Erin has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both evidence-based practices shown to support anxiety, mood regulation, eating disorders, and depressed symptoms. Erin is also trained in mindfulness-based practices, and specializes in working with individuals coping with recurrent pregnancy loss. Erin’s practice method allows one to continue working throughout the week outside of therapy sessions by implementing skills and setting goals. Sessions with Erin integrate a process-oriented approach, meaning the client brings to session what feels important to discuss, and through discussion, clients leave sessions with tools to continue the therapeutic process throughout the week. Bridget Carey, MHC-LP
Psychotherapist DBT Program Director (She/ Her/ Hers) Bridget is a Mental Health Counselor who has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with various levels of depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma response, borderline personality traits, and other concerns. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Bridget is passionate about helping individuals who may be struggling with issues of identity and acceptance. Bridget is also passionate about trauma education and spreading awareness about how an experience is classified as such as well as how to identify when one is experiencing a trauma response. Bridget has previously worked at South Oaks Hospital, where she assisted clients in healing through use of DBT skills (mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance) as well as expressive arts therapy. Gabrielle Miller, LMSW
Psychotherapist (She/ Her/ Hers) Gabrielle is a thoughtful and caring licensed master social worker with experience supporting adults who are experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and who are working through issues pertaining to interpersonal relationships, experiences of trauma, and adjusting to life’s transitions. Gabrielle has worked extensively with survivors of trauma and is highly attuned to the ways that trauma impacts both the body and mind. Gabrielle uses a holistic approach and leans on traditional talk therapy while infusing techniques from CBT and DBT into her work, co-creating individualized treatment plans alongside her clients that suit their unique needs and help them reach desired goals. Hannah Burke, LMSW
Psychotherapist (She/ Her/ Hers) Hannah is a Licensed Master Social Worker specializing in working with children, adolescents, and children diagnosed with Autism. Hannah has experience in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, social relationship struggles, family dynamics, problem solving, emotional regulation, self-advocacy and low self-esteem. She has experience in working in different types of schools across the New York City region. Hannah utilizes an empathetic approach that incorporates talk therapy, elements of CBT, mindfulness, play therapy, and imaginative therapy. Shanely Marmolejos, LMSW
Psychotherapist (She/ Her/ Hers) Shanely Marmolejos is a bilingual licensed social worker in English and Spanish who specializes in working with women and children. Shanely is trained in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, specializing in working with postpartum mood disorders, postpartum anxiety, and postpartum OCD. She also specializes in working with infertility, pregnancy loss, people trying to conceive, and termination for medical reasons. Shanely is eclectic in her therapeutic relationship, making sure to always meet the client where they are at. She is passionate about social emotional skills and emotional regulation at all ages, mindfulness, immigration advocacy and maternal mental health. Molly Zimetbaum, LMSW
Psychotherapist (She/ Her/ Hers) Molly specializes in working with adults and couples. She is a Gottman trained therapist, and she specializes in working with anxiety and depressive disorders. She provides a process-oriented approach, along with skills and tools to promote therapeutic growth even when the client is outside of a session. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and specifically uses DBT to support individuals and couples in emotion regulation and improving their relationships. Molly uses mindfulness based approaches, cognitive restructuring, and compassion practices in sessions to empower clients to access presence, acceptance, and growth. Frank Gruebel, MHC-LP
Psychotherapist (He/ Him/ His) Throughout his tenure, Frank has focused on supporting people of all ages and backgrounds—including adolescents, adults, couples, and the elderly. This has given him a depth of experience in providing care to those facing anxiety, depression, burnout, and feeling “stuck” in their current situation. Frank has also had the opportunity to work with diverse populations and he feels particularly passionate about providing therapy to marginalized communities and empowering those experiencing societal oppression. Caroline has worked extensively with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders within treatment center settings. Samara Bernstein, MHC-LP

Laura Killick, MHC-LP, LAC
Psychotherapist (She/ Her/ Hers) Laura working with adults navigating life changes, low self-esteem, depression, relationship issues, and anxiety. Laura works with adults with diagnosed or suspected ADHD to improve executive functioning, work on feelings of guilt or shame, improve relationships, and reduce stress and anxiety. Wallace Ludel, LMSW
Psychotherapist (He/ Him/ His) Wallace Ludel is a Licensed Master of Social Work whose primary interests include grief and bereavement, explorations and constructions of identity, personal narratives, spiritual well being, anxiety, interpersonal and family dynamics, and other aspects of self-exploration. Wallace uses a strengths-based approach and believes that the therapeutic relationship is one built on curiosity and open-mindedness, and that facilitating this environment is key to the clinician’s role. He incorporates elements of CBT and DBT and helps clients to de-identify from their fears, challenge their assumptions, and reconcile the mind, body, and spirit. Prior to coming to Taproot, Wallace worked at the Center for Prolonged Grief, conducting training, research, and psychoeducation on grief and grief counseling. Josh Boscarino, MHC-LP

Kelsey Cottingham, MSW
Psychotherapist (She/ Her/ Hers) Kelsey is a master of social work who works primarily with young adults experiencing life changes, relationships issues, grief, trauma, and depression and anxiety. She has a particular passion for helping people improve their self-understanding to strengthen platonic and romantic relationships, increase self-compassion, and to identify personal values and learn to live by them. Kelsey incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, but makes sure to tailor her sessions to the individual first and foremost. Before becoming a therapist, Kelsey had a career in advertising and marketing working for consumer brands and tech companies.
