Support and Strategy Group for Parents of Children with ADHD
This 10-week group is open to parents and caregivers seeking strategies to support their child with ADHD. Learn how to support your child and help them thrive effectively.
This group is right for you if:
You have one or more children diagnosed with ADHD or who are suspected of having ADHD.
You want to support your child but don't always know the best way to do so, and sometimes feel overwhelmed.
You have noticed that your child is struggling emotionally at home or school and want simple, evidence-based strategies to help them make the most of their abilities
Your family is experiencing stress or strain due to managing your child's behaviors.
Connecting to others with similar or shared experiences in a non-judgmental, supportive environment would benefit you.
The group includes:
Weekly 75-minute group calls
ADHD skills coaching and education
Information on navigating the support systems available to you and your child
Weekly discussions and peer support
As needed email or phone support throughout the week (scheduled as needed)
Ongoing work outside of the group to support learning and help enhance skill acquisition
