This 5-week group program is designed to support adults to learn skills allowing them to overcome social anxiety. The group will provide evidence-based skills and support to help overcome social anxiety in a small-group setting. This group is right for you if:
You are 18+ years old and struggle with anxiety socializing, meeting new people, or at work.
You are looking for evidence-based skills to help when anxiety overwhelms you.
You want to build connections with others who understand your experiences.
You would benefit from having the opportunity to practice your social skills in a safe, supportive environment where there is no pressure to speak more than you are comfortable with.
You want to build connections with others, but a large group setting feels overwhelming.
The group includes:
Matching with a group of others struggling with similar issues
Weekly 60-minute group meetings
Coaching and education on skills to manage anxiety
Weekly facilitated discussions and peer support
As needed email or phone support throughout the week (scheduled as needed)
Ongoing work outside of the group to support learning and help enhance skill acquisition
Group Information Location: Virtual Schedule: Starting 2/5 and running every monday from 5-6PM for 4 weeks with a final in person session on Saturday March 2nd. Dates: 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/2.
