Rachel Schindler, LMSW
Psychotherapist (She/ Her/ Hers) Rachel is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works with teens and adults seeking a safe and supportive space to navigate challenges that arise in their lives. She specializes in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, body image concerns, and disordered eating habits. Rachel also focuses on co-fostering a space that allows clients to navigate dating and relationship dynamics and explore their sexual identity and expression in a non-judgemental environment. Rachel is LGBTQ-affirming and welcomes clients from all walks of life. She uses a range of modalities stemming from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to inform her practice and meet the needs of each individual client. Rachel uses a person-centered approach and believes in adding a little humor to the therapeutic process. Rachel has previously lived in Spain and values the intersections and complications that may come about in culture, identity, and communication styles. She encourages clients to come as they are and emphasizes that there is no right or wrong way to come into session. She uses a compassionate, yet direct approach to help clients achieve their goals and develop skills that they can use in their daily lives. Cost for a 60-minute session: $175 |
