Dialectical Behavior Therapy Training for Clinicians
A clinical training for providers

January 30 - 31, 2023
12pm - 5pm

Join Erin Iwanusa and Bridget Carey via Zoom in this foundational course that will prepare you for providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy to your clients. This course is crucial to learning the evidence-based and effective practices that make up your DBT practice.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy is an evidence-based practice developed by Marsha Linehan, American Psychologist, for individuals living with Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety disorders, and eating disorders, as well as promising evidence for substance use disorders and children.

In this 2-day foundational course, you will learn:

  • The knowledge and skills needed to provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy to individuals, families and groups
  • How to provide DBT in an evidenced-based manner
  • To implement the four skill modules in DBT: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation.
  • How to provide DBT to special populations, including children, eating disorders, and anxiety
  • How to run a DBT skills group
  • The Biosocial Theory and how to educate our clients
  • How to help clients track their behaviors and moods, and complete behavior chain analyses.
  • And much more!

During these 2-days, we will set you up to run a DBT-informed practice. You will have the opportunity to connect with other providers, as well as gain expert guidance. You will receive a complete training guidebook, and a workbook developed by Erin to implement DBT into your practice.

BONUS :
  • Discounted rates on Erin’s and Bridget's consultation services for individuals or teams after the training
  • Access to exclusive training videos and guidebooks for ongoing education.
