Our Chronic Pain Recovery Group Therapy is a transformative space designed for those seeking to not just cope with, but meaningfully reduce or heal from chronic pain or chronic symptoms. Centering around the innovative approach of pain reprocessing therapy (PRT), participants will learn powerful skills to retrain the brain and nervous system, helping to alleviate chronic pain at its source. This group offers a supportive community where members can find hope, connect with others who understand their journey, and discover the potential for true recovery.
What to Expect:
Weekly Sessions: The group meets once a week for 90 minutes, offering a consistent and reliable support system.
Guided Discussions: Each session will focus on a specific topic related to chronic pain, such as managing flare-ups, dealing with doubt about your ability to recover, or balancing the advice or directives given to you by medical professionals.
Skill Building: Participants will learn practical skills that can be used in daily life and implemented immediately, including somatic tracking and other cognitive-behavioral strategies aimed to reduce the level of fear around your pain.
Peer Support: Sharing experiences with others who understand what it means to move through the world with chronic pain can reduce feelings of isolation and provide encouragement.
